Both states reviewed received\nrecommendations to prohibit all corporal punishment of children:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Committee noted that corporal punishment was\nstill \u201chighly practiced\u201d in <strong>Angola<\/strong>\nand recommended that the Government enact legislation prohibiting corporal\npunishment in all settings. The Committee also recommended that Angola take\nmeasures to train teachers and parents on positive discipline.<\/li><li>To <strong>Sierra\nLeone<\/strong>, the Committee expressed concern at the prevalence of corporal\npunishment in the home and schools and the express legality of \u201creasonable\npunishment\u201d under the Child Rights Act.
