States can either \u2018support\u2019 (accept) or \u2018note\u2019 UPR recommendations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Afghanistan <\/strong>and<strong> Chile<\/strong>&nbsp;supported recommendations to prohibit all corporal punishment of children.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Slovakia <\/strong>supported a recommendation to \u201cput an end\u201d to corporal punishment in all settings.<\/li>\n<li>The<strong> Comoros&nbsp;<\/strong>noted several recommendations to prohibit all corporal punishment of children, stating that the Government believed that awareness-raising campaigns were necessary to first convince the population of the need to ban corporal punishment before being able to consider law reform.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Uruguay<\/strong>&nbsp;supported a recommendation to implement the existing ban effectively.
