(h) avoidance of harsh disciplinary measures, particularly corporal punishment\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>Para. 54 \u201cNo child or young person should be subjected to harsh or degrading correction or punishment measures at home, in schools or in any other institutions.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote><h4><em>Guiding Principles on the human rights obligations of States to provide public education and to regulate private involvement in education (\"Abidjan principles\")<\/em><\/h4><blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>Para. 55 \u201cThe minimum standards [applicable to private instructional educational institutions] should address the following dimensions ...
