The Global Initiative to End All Corporal Punishment exists to promote law reform to prohibit corporal punishment of children in all settings and to support others in doing so. This work includes promoting and widely disseminating briefings and other information on the work of human rights monitoring bodies, carrying out legal research and collecting and analysing other research and information on positive, non-violent discipline, and sharing this information directly with governments considering law reform, UN agencies, human rights institutions and international and national non-government organisations campaigning to promote reform. We are therefore required to adhere to the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
